Hello! I’m Andrea Barber, a future healthcare analyst passionate about transforming data into solutions that improve healthcare outcomes. As a soon-to-be graduate with a B.S. in Business Intelligence and Analytics (June 2025), I’ve built a strong foundation in data analysis, visualization, and problem-solving, specifically for the healthcare industry.
I’m skilled in Python, Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, and have some experience with C#. I enjoy leveraging these tools to uncover insights, streamline processes, and support data-driven decisions. My goal is to harness the power of data to improve patient care and operational efficiency in healthcare organizations.

Fun facts about me:
In 2018, I was honored as one of the Fab 40 Under 40 by the Pittsburgh Courier for my achievements and contributions to my community.
I owned and operated a healthy vending machine company for five years, promoting better snack options in local communities.
I love hiking! My longest hike was 11 miles from Ke’e Beach to Kalalau Beach along the Nåpali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii a breathtaking adventure I’ll never forget.
Volunteering is a big part of my life. I spent nearly four years supporting the Office of Child Development and Family Support Centers in Western Pennsylvania, and I’m currently Co-Director of the Technology Committee for GETWITIT PGH, empowering women in technology.
I’m always up for trying something new whether it’s learning a new programming language, exploring innovative tech tools, or taking on new challenges that push me to grow both professionally and personally.
