Hello! I’m Andrea Barber, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus in Business Intelligence and Analytics. I see data as more than numbers it’s a story waiting to be told. My goal is to uncover those stories and use them to spark innovation and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and progress.

My expertise includes Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, and some experience with C#. I enjoy using these tools to uncover patterns, streamline processes, and provide data-driven recommendations that make a real impact. My education has given me a strong foundation in analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I’m excited to apply these skills in a professional setting.

In addition to my academic training, I launched a YouTube channel where I share tutorials and insights on Python, coding, and data analytics. This platform not only strengthens my technical skills but also demonstrates my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, mentor others, and take initiative in building a personal brand.

I believe data is more than numbers it’s a powerful tool for equity, innovation, and progress.

Fun facts about me:

• In 2018, I was honored as one of the Fab 40 Under 40 by the Pittsburgh Courier for my achievements and contributions to my community.

• I owned and operated a healthy vending machine company for five years, promoting healthy snack options in local communities.

• I love hiking! My longest hike was 11 miles from Ke’e Beach to Kalalau Beach along the Nåpali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii a breathtaking adventure I’ll never forget.

• Volunteering is a big part of my life. I spent nearly four years supporting the Office of Child Development and Family Support Centers in Western Pennsylvania, and I’m currently Co-Director of the Technology Committee for GETWITIT PGH, empowering women in technology.

• I’m always up for trying something new whether it’s learning a new programming language, exploring innovative tech tools, or taking on new challenges that push me to grow both professionally and personally.
